Information Technology is transforming all facets of campus life. This briefing is designed to provide Congressional staff with an overview of how colleges and universities are harnessing advances in information technology and how national technology policy decisions affect our nation’s campuses and their ability to assist their local communities.

Campus technology policy issues encompass the areas of appropriations, cybersecurity, education, privacy, research, technology, telecommunications, and workforce development. Staff with policy making responsibility in any of these areas will find this briefing to be a concise and non-technical recap of the stakes for higher education in these discussions.
